"Letting Go of Comparison" with Javoni Cobb

“Letting Go of Comparison”

with Javoni Cobb

I absolutely loved my conversation with Javoni Cobb. Javoni is an eating disorder recovery coach at the Eating Disorder Center in Rockville, Maryland. She has her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and currently works with teens and adults struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and body image issues. In her work with clients, Javoni seeks to help them break free from disordered behaviors to discover food freedom, body acceptance, and self-compassion.

In our time together, Javoni and I cover so many important topics: how beauty standards impact our relationship with food and our bodies, the dead end that is comparison, and how “healthy” comes in all kinds of body shapes and sizes. I laughed with Javoni and learned so much from her. I’m so excited for you to listen in to this episode.
